Driving Directions

By Metro:

1. The Navy Yard Metro station (Green line) is located across the street from the west building. There are two entrances/exits at this station; visitors should use the one at the corner of New Jersey and M streets.

From Virginia via I-95:

1. Take I-95 N toward Washington.
2. Merge onto I-395 N via exit 170A-B toward Washington / I-495 / Tysons Corner (Crossing into District of Columbia).
3. Keep LEFT to take I-295 S.
4. Take the South Capitol Street exit.
5. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto South Capitol Street SW.
6. Turn LEFT onto M Street SW.
7. End at M St SE & New Jersey Ave SE.

From Virginia via I-66:

1. Take I-66 E toward Washington.
2. Merge onto I-495 S / Capitol Beltway via exit 64A toward Richmond
3. Merge onto US-50 E / Arlington Blvd via exit 50A-B toward Arlington.
4. Merge onto Washington Blvd / VA-27 S toward I-395 / Pentagon. Take the I-395 N ramp toward US-1 S / Washington.
5. Merge onto I-395 N toward 244 WEST / Columbia Pike (Crossing into District of Columbia).
6. Keep LEFT to take I-295 S.
7. Take the South Capitol Street exit.
8. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto South Capitol Street SW.
9. Turn LEFT onto M Street SW.
10. End at M Street SE & New Jersey Ave SE.

From Maryland via Suitland Parkway:

1. Take Suitland Pkwy SE toward Washington (Crossing into District of Columbia).
2. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto South Capitol Street SE.
3. Keep RIGHT at the fork to continue on South Capitol Street SE.
4. Turn RIGHT onto M ST SE.
5. End at M St SE & New Jersey Ave SE.

From Maryland via Pennsylvania Avenue:

1. MD-4 N becomes Pennsylvania Ave SE.
2. Take the ramp toward I-395.
3. Merge onto SOUTHEAST Fwy.
4. Take the exit toward 8th Street SE.
5. Turn LEFT onto I Street SE.
6. Turn LEFT onto 7th Street SE.
7. Turn RIGHT onto M Street SE.
8. End at M Street SE & New Jersey Ave SE.

From Northern Maryland via I-95:

1. Take I-95 S toward Washington
2. Take the Balt / Wash Pkwy SOUTH exit - exit 22B - toward Washington.
3. Merge onto MD-295 S (Crossing into District of Columbia).
4. MD-295 S becomes I-295 S.
5. Take the Howard Road exit - exit 3B - toward Downtown.
6. Turn RIGHT onto Howard Road SE.
7. Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp.
8. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto South Capitol Street SE.
9. Keep RIGHT at the fork to continue on South Capitol Street SE.
10. Turn RIGHT onto M Street SE.
11. End at M Street SE & New Jersey Ave SE.

From Northern Maryland via 270:

1. I-270 LOCAL S becomes I-270 S.
2. Keep RIGHT to take I-270 Spur S toward I-495 S / Washington / Northern Virginia.
3. I-270 Spur S becomes I-495 S / Capitol Beltway (Crossing into Virginia).
4. Take exit 43-44 toward Geo Wash Mem Pkwy / VA-193 / Georgetown Pike / Langley / Great Falls.
5. Take the Geo Wash Mem Pkwy exit - exit 43 - toward Washington.
6. Merge onto Geo Wash Mem Pkwy (Passing through District of Columbia - then crossing into Virginia).
7. Merge onto I-395 N toward Washington (Crossing into District of Columbia).
8. Keep LEFT to take I-295 S.
9. Take the South Capitol Street exit.
10. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto South Capitol Street SW.
11. Turn LEFT onto M Street SW.
