UPLAN

Description:

UPLAN is an interactive mapping platform that supports the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) by helping to visualize data, track assets, and strengthen transportation through better analysis and collaborative information. Support for UPlan is provided by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Technology Implementation Group (TIG). UPLAN is a web-based decision-support mapping and informational tool for completing complex planning and project development tasks. It allows complete or selective data sharing among various work units within the State DOT. It also allows selective data sharing between State DOTs and with the public.

Other pilot states with some level of implementation include Arizona, Idaho, Montana, and Pennsylvania.
