Description:

This manual was drafted by the World Health Organization in collaboration with other partners. It provides guidelines on data collection for road safety management (e.g., data elements required for effective safety planning and monitoring). It identifies relevant stakeholders, existing data sources and systems, and strategies for improving data quality. It provides guidance to users on how to disseminate data and maximize the likelihood of its use and how to use the data in order to improve road safety, monitor results, and assess the impact of interventions.
