Description:

This tool is a browser-based safety management system that integrates a geographic information system (GIS) and linear referencing system (LRS). The tool stores safety-related data, allows for visualization of traffic and crash data, integrates GIS/LRS for network screening and analysis, applies user-defined decision trees to determine the most effective treatments, applies the Highway Safety Manual (HSM) methods (including Empirical Bayes), optimizes the application of limited resources, and provides reporting tools such as the HSIP 5 Percent Reports. This tool integrates the HSM methods with crash data visualization reports, including tabular, graphical, and GIS map-based formats.
