The Red Grade Road provides access to the Bighorn National Forest and BLM recreational sites near Big Horn, WY, approximately 16 miles southwest of Sheridan, WY. This project will rehabilitate (gravel surfacing) and widen approximately 2.5-miles of existing roadway to a consistent width starting at the base trailhead and continuing southwest. The major work elements include roadway excavation, aggregate placement, culvert construction, retaining walls, and rockeries.
