Project Description:

The purpose of the project is to improve the condition and extend the life of the Blue Ridge Parkway including its parking areas and overlooks in sections 2M and 2N from Milepost 336.39 to Milepost 359.39.  Work includes asphalt concrete pavement patches, mill and overlay, asphalt concrete pavement reconstruction, drainage improvements, slope repairs, minor granite curb replacement, ditch reconditioning, guardwall and guardrail repairs or replacement as warranted, signing, pavement markings and other miscellaneous work. Several locations along the Parkway will also require slope repair and stabilization before pavement issues are addressed.
