Warman Loop Road
Background
Located just three miles from the entrance into Big Horn Canyon National Recreation Area (BCNRA), Warman Loop Road provides access to a multitude of outdoor recreation activities for visitors eager to explore south central Montana.
The roadway is in poor condition showing excessive transverse cracking, surface raveling and alligator cracking. The poor conditions make for a rough, unsafe road which will only continue to deteriorate without treatment. The existing culverts have also gone past their useful life and are due to be replaced.
The design team is currently working on the design for a safer access to BCNRA.
