This project includes the four spot improvements along State Route 286 between the towns of Sasabe and Three Points along with the rehabilitation of approximately 6 miles of Brown Canyon Entrance Road.  Drainage at the four spot improvements currently overtops the road, rendering the road impassable during storm events while depositing significant amounts of sediment. The proposed improvements include the construction of large box culverts to manage the flow and sediment at the four spot locations. The culvert construction will result in widening from 24 feet to 36 feet, a roadway grade raise, and new asphalt pavement transitions to the existing pavement.
