State Military Reservation - General Booth Boulevard
The objective of the project is to provide a better access point entrance to Camp Pendleton Army National Guard. The project involves relocating the existing entrance to a location across Owls Creek Municipal Boat Ramp from General Booth Boulevard and connecting to Headquarters Road. From General Booth Boulevard at the new entrance, the project also involves providing an extended left-turn lane for queuing vehicles, and a right turn lane, at the gate, installing traffic signals, and providing new pedestrian cross-walks meeting current ADA requirements. Other required work will be relocation of any utilities conflicting with the proposed work and Storm Water Management to meet Virginia DEQ MS-4 requirements.
