Project Description

Project will include New Beach Access Road and multi-use trail construction, Refuge Entrance Road widening to reduce congestion, a new roundabout, and construction of Beach and Canoe and Kayak parking areas. Approximate project length is 16.57 miles. Specific work items will include asphalt concrete pavement construction on Beach Access Road, New Beach Access Road and Multi-Use Trail, clay/clam shell surfacing of Beach and Canoe and Kayak parking areas, construction of pedestrian timber walkways, signing, striping and other miscellaneous work. The project can be accessed via Maddox Boulevard from the north.
