La Sal Mountain Loop Road

Construction

The road is striped and open!

Safety Message: Please follow the speed limit. Now that the road is open and smooth, we have seen a large increase in both motorized and non-motorized traffic. We want everyone to enjoy the new road and this means obeying the speed limit and paying attention to other road users.

Project Activities:*

  • Paving and striping are complete and the road is open. Crews are still on site for the next couple of weeks while they finish mulch, seeding, sign installation and other small work. Flaggers may be present as needed to direct traffic around the work.

*Schedule is subject to change due to weather, equipment, material delays, etc.
