Causey Reservoir Access

The Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD) of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), in cooperation with Weber County and the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, are proposing rehabilitation and reconstruction improvements to improve access to the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest and the Causey Reservoir. The proposed project will include rehabilitation of the 1.75-mile Causey Entrance Road (including replacement of the Beaver Creek structure), reconstruction of the Causey Road and Skull Crack Road intersection, reconstruction of the 0.5-mile Skull Crack Road across the dam to the Skull Crack Overlook, realignment and expansion of the Skull Crack Overlook parking area, and reconstruction of the western 0.5 miles of Wheat Grass Road.
