Lake McDonald Utility Relocation

Project Description

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the National Park Service (NPS) wish to replace utilities in the Going to The Sun Road (GTSR) corridor between the Lake McDonald Lodge and Apgar Village within Glacier National Park, Montana. Specifically, this project includes replacing the existing sewer force main, power, and phone in the corridor along Lake McDonald and GTSR. Additionally, the lift station near the Lake McDonald Lodge is to be replaced and the lift station at the Sprague Creek Campground is to be modified and improved. The proposed project corridor is shown in the vicinity map below.
