North Fork of the Flathead River

The Scope of Services have been adjusted due to limitation of available funding and aligning with the Border Patrol, USFS, NPS, and Flathead County’s priorities.  Additionally, the North Fork and Glacier Drive work will be spilt into two separate contracts to align scope construction items, funding, and material availability.

North Fork Road

• Reconstruction from the end of the resurfacing section for 5.1 miles to the Canadian Border (MP 50.0 to 55.15) to provide an 18-foot wide roadway;
  • Proposed Traffic Control During Construction: Construction caused delays to the public traffic are forecasted at a maximum of 30 minutes per passage through the project.

Glacier Drive and Polebridge Loop

• Reconstruction of Glacier Drive for 1.3 miles from the end of the Polebridge Bridge to the intersection with Polebridge Loop (MP 0.2 to 1.5) to provide a 20-foot wide roadway;
  • Proposed Traffic Control During Construction: Construction caused delays to the public traffic are forecasted at a maximum of 30 minutes per passage through the project.
