Publication Information
This report details a study performed by researchers working under the Federal Highway Administration’s Exploratory Advanced Research Program. In the study, the researchers created a RAD generation framework on macroscopic and microscopic levels for a diverse selection of roadway facility types and developed a web-based tool. The tool’s framework provides users with the ability to generate RAD for multiple years at macroscopic segment and microscopic trip levels. This report should be of interest to academics and researchers developing crash modification factors or functions and statistical models to determine how the models best represent real-world relationships.
