Project Abstract:
This study seeks to provide guidance to the asphalt materials community regarding index-based performance tests. These performance tests are of critical importance in the pavements community – there is a paradigm shift occurring where mixture design is shifting to a performance-based system. This investigates the sensitivity of these tests to materials and integration into a quality assurance program.
