Mechanical Properties of Lightweight High-Performance Concrete
Project Information
This projects aims to provide recommended specifications for the mechanical properties of lightweight high-performance concrete. Recommendations will be provided to code-writing committees in order to allow for a systematic update of codes to reflect the performance of modern lightweight concrete.
Goals
The key project objective is to develop recommended specifications for the mechanical properties of lightweight high-performance concrete as relevant to the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) Bridge Design Specification.
