Project Abstract:

This project researches pavement infiltration, improved curb inlet design, and mitigation hydroplaning risk. Drainage and flooding over roadways are hazards that can severely impact the safety of the traveling public. As we move forward with highly automated vehicles (HAVs), such drainage hazards deserve additional special attention.
