Highway Safety Information System (HSIS) V
The HSIS is a multistate database that contains crash, roadway inventory, and traffic volume data for a select group of States. The data are available to be used for the study of highway safety.
The HSIS is used in support of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) safety research program and to provide input to the program and policy decisions. The HSIS is also available to analysts conducting research under the National Cooperative Highway Research Program, university researchers, and others involved in the study of highway safety.
