Project Abstract:

The project is an 18-month feasibility study of key elements of a transportation system to reduce truck and other vehicle use of highways, using an airship approach while utilizing only "green" energy sources, especially microwave-beamed power transmission to the vehicle.

Goals:

The key project objective is to explore the feasibility of developing airships for transportation of goods, and potentially human beings, using high-performance photovoltaic, thermoelectric, and microwave beamed energy for power.
