Project Abstract:
This research project will rigorously test winter maintenance materials, equipment, and methods for use by highway maintenance crews. Current projects underway include: national winter safety campaign; computer-based training modules for the Anti-Icing/RWIS CBT package; development of standardized test procedures for carbide and deicing chemicals; and national winter maintenance peer exchange.
