WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) today announced over $40 million in available funding to help Tribal governments improve roadways and address transportation safety issues through the Tribal Transportation Program Safety Fund (TTPSF). The updated funding opportunity removes woke Biden-era language that tied critical infrastructure funding to social justice and Green New Scam climate initiatives. It also ensures selections are merit-based.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Transportation Sean P. Duffy today announced $175 million in funding under the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Ferry Boat Program (FBP) to 35 states, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa. The formula funding will improve ferry service and provide more cost-effective travel options for communities across the country that rely on ferries to get to work, promote tourism, and enable commerce.
