Abstract:

This fact sheet highlights the emerging In-Situ Scour Testing Device (ISTD) technology, that uses an innovative erosion head that more accurately measures soil erosion resistance, resulting in more cost-effective foundation designs and greater reliability and resiliency in bridge performance.
