Long-Term Pavement Performance Information Management System User Guide, FHWA-HRT-21-038 - - posted April 30, 2021

Publication Information

Publication Number:
FHWA-HRT-21-038
Abstract:

The Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) program studies the performance of in-service pavements. It is designed to understand how and why pavements perform as they do. To accomplish this goal, the LTPP program has collected and accumulated a vast repository of pavement performance related data, extensive documentation, and related tools since 1987, which compose LTPP’s comprehensive information management system (IMS). This guide helps users of the LTPP IMS understand the performance data collected at the LTPP test sections. The IMS consists of the Pavement Performance Database, LTPP Traffic Analysis Software database, and Ancillary Information Management System archives. The primary objectives of this document are to explain the types and nature of the available data and information accessible to users, and where they are stored across the various tables within the
IMS.
