Abstract:

This fact sheet highlights the methodology of measuring decarbonization in the pavement lifecycle. Pavement management can be a suitable phase for considering and introducing environmental improvements to optimize pavement preservation and maintenance treatment timing, location, and type (when, where, and what) because of the phase’s focus on system-level resource optimization.
