Highway Infrastructure Durability: Identifying Shortcomings and Developing Solutions
Project Information
This is a cross-cutting effort that focused on solutions without being constrained by processes within individual research groups, laboratories, or offices. The goal of the research effort is to facilitate the initiation of a 30-year effort to transform the highway infrastructure into a robust durable system capable of remaining serviceable for the following 50 to 100 years. The project aims to identify the specific causes of degradation within the highway infrastructure, develop remediation measures, and deploy the solutions throughout the system.
