The project proposes to integrate sensing and measurement technologies for structural health monitoring into bridge management practices. Innovative claims center on the development and use of novel sensing and measurement technologies, improved characterization and quantification of uncertainties evaluating safety and serviceability, and improved life-cycle decision support.
