Project Information
This activity includes two elements: (1) completing a global benchmarking program (GBP) study on reducing pedestrian fatalities through planning and application of safety strategies on arterial networks along with tracking and communicating GBP benefits/impacts under the John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center interagency agreement and (2) funding international travel for Federal Highway Administration team members participating in the reducing pedestrian fatalities and the unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for Infrastructure GBP studies. These activities will continue the mission of seeking and adapting foreign innovations that directly support U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) strategic goals.
