Ongoing Federal Lands and Tribal Transportation Research
Approximately 30 percent of the land in the United States is under the jurisdiction of the Federal Government. The Federal Lands and Tribal Transportation Program (FLTTP) was established in October 2012, and continued under the FAST Act. The Federal Land Management Agencies (FLMAs) include: the Bureau of Indian Affairs, U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service, Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, U.S. Army, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Navy, Tennessee Valley Authority, and the Bureau of Reclamation.
