The 2006 edition of the United States Department of Transportation's Status of the Nation's Highways, Bridges and Transit Conditions and Performance report will be available in mid-March. It features the latest information on the nation's pavement and bridge conditions, traffic congestion, highway financing and ride quality. The biennial report is the seventh in the series (which dates back to 1968) produced by the USDOT that combines highway and transit data. An executive summary is currently available upon request.
