Rachael Dussuau

Rachael Dussuau has served as the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Associate Administrator for Public Affairs since October 2024. She comes to DOT from the SBA, where she was most recently the Deputy Associate Administrator for the Office of Communications and Public Liaison.

Prior to joining the federal government, Rachael was a communications strategist at two Washington firms, working with non-profits, state and federal government agencies/organizations, and private companies.

Rachael began her career at CNN and is an Emmy award-winning producer. She has an undergraduate degree in journalism from Florida A&M University and a graduate degree in international affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
