Project Details

Project Description:

A research program will be conducted to obtain a preliminary estimate of a chloride threshold value for corrosion initiation for prestressing strands.

Goals

The key project objective is to conduct research on prestressing strands grouted with samples of cement grout containing different levels of chloride to obtain a preliminary estimate of a chloride threshold value for corrosion initiation.
