Project Details

Project Description: 

Develop a fundamental model for the compaction of hot-mix asphalt. The project has been initiated and it involves identifying potential models, relating model parameters to the lab and the field, selecting a suitable model, sensitivity analysis, verification, and finally delivery. This will also require coordination with efforts at the development of new roller equipment with intelligent compaction capabilities.
