River S Bridge Replacement

Project Overview

The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge has requested that the Western Federal Lands (WFL) Highway Division of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) manage the contract for construction of the River S Bridge replacement, over Lake River. The new River S Bridge is a five span, 526'-8" structure, with drilled shafts. It will span Lake River as well as the Burlington Northern Sante Fe (BNSF) railroad tracks. Additional work includes Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) wall, ground improvements, abutment approaches, and other minor construction.
