In April through June 2018, rapid snowmelt and flooding caused damage to roads within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. These roads provide recreational and administrative access to the National Forest. The Emergency Relief of Federally Owned Roads (ERFO) program will be used to restore these damaged roads to their original condition.
This project will repair 12 damage sites located from near Yakima all the way up to the Canadian border within the Forest. The work includes repair of eroded ditches, roadbeds and slopes, subsided roadways and repair and replacement of small culverts.
