Project Description

US 20 (Santiam Highway) is located on the west slope of the Cascade Mountains in Willamette National Forest, approximately 25 miles east of Sweet Home, OR. US 20 is a key transportation link for the State of Oregon, providing access between mid-Willamette Valley to the Cascade Mountains and Central Oregon.

The project will regrade and realign the road and construct a retaining wall near MP 56 to mitigate movement of the roadway due to landslides. The project will also regrade the roadway near MP 55 due to damage caused by past landslides.
