Kipapa Stream Bridge (Roosevelt)

Project Overview

The Central Federal Lands Highway Division of the Federal Highway Administration in cooperation with the Hawaii Department of Transportation is developing a project located on the Kamehameha Highway, Route 99, M.P. 14.4, (Kipapa Stream) Roosevelt Bridge, on the Island of Oahu.


HDOT has partnered with the USDOT Central Federal Lands Highways Division (CFLHD) to deliver bridge and other highway improvement projects throughout the islands.

The project is located across Kipapa Gulch on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) at mile post 14.4. The project improves the safety and reliability of the existing bridge, through rehabilitation, addressing load capacity, bridge railing and transitions.
