Lassen Highway

Project Description

State Route 89, Lassen Highway, starts at the intersection with SR36 and progresses north for approximately 4.4 miles to the Lassen Volcanic National Park boundary. The purpose of this project is to improve pavement condition and drainage infrastructure, address narrow shoulder widths, and make clear zone improvements. The project proposes rehabilitation of the existing pavement with minor widening to accommodate a 2-foot shoulder, drainage improvements, safety improvements, and select superelevation corrections and tree clearing.
