Project Description: 

The experimental program includes both long-term exposure tests as well as accelerated corrosion tests. The new posttensioning systems being investigated include combinations of strands, ducts (with and without couplers), bearing plates, and electrical isolation.

The key project objective is to develop corrosion resistant protection systems for posttensioned bridge members.
